NEIGHBORHOOD PRAYER-WALKING
The Women’s Advisory Council would like to invite you to join us in lifting up Jesus’ name in our neighborhoods.
In this season of life, we are looking for ways to connect with one another, to bless our neighbors, to serve the Lord and hear His voice. We are calling women and men to prayer and intercession right where we live. We are calling men and women to be the fragrant aroma of Christ, to lift up Jesus’ name and worship Him with one another.
Join one of Grace’s Neighborhood Prayer Walking Teams around the Lynchburg area.
Groups pray at different times during the day and different days of the week. Look at the groups and locations below and contact the neighborhood prayer team captain directly if you wish to join a team. If you are interested in leading a team of two or more, please contact Kirsten Donohue at kdonohue@graceefc.net.
Let’s celebrate Easter by giving Jesus the opportunity to work through our prayers together, as we lift up his name on the streets where we live. Let’s see God pour out His blessings on our neighborhoods together. This is a wonderful opportunity for Life Groups or families who are looking for a way to grow deeper in their faith and in connections with each other.

Suggestions on what to do during your walks:
Follow the simple ACTS approach. Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication.
Walk slower than you would normally. Take slow steps and invite God to join you and lead you. Listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit as He leads you.
It is best to prayer walk in teams of 2-3.
Pray! Pray in response to what you see and hear. Ask God to show you or impress upon you what to pray about.
