WOMEN OF GRACE
As the women of Grace, we want to be intentional as we seek after God as followers of Jesus so we can live out His mission together. We want women to know Jesus intimately, to be open and honest with each other and their families. We want to reach out to our community and our world through the power of Christ. We seek to accomplish these goals by providing opportunities for women to come along side each other in Bible Studies, one on one mentoring, spiritual friendships, special events and lots of fun.
CONNECT WITH US
Women’s Advisory Council
The Women’s Advisory Council is a group of women established by the Elders with two important roles. First, they are available to the women of Grace for short-term mentoring, spiritual counsel and prayer. Second, they meet periodically with the Elders throughout the year to bring a women’s perspective to important matters being discussed by the Elders. For more information on the short-term mentoring process, contact the Women’s Advisory Council at email@example.com.
Women of Grace Facebook Page
The purpose of this group is to provide a closed Facebook group where women at Grace can privately share prayer requests, words of encouragement, learn about events, needs, etc. with other women at Grace. We have seen many answers to prayer, needs met and friendships developed through these connections. If you’re interested in getting connected with other women at Grace, stop by our Women of Grace Facebook page and request to be added to join our conversations. We hope you join us!
WHAT WE DO
We have several ongoing ministries offered throughout the year. For more information on any of these ministries listed below, contact the Women’s Coordinator, Kirsten Donohue, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our monthly Moms’ Night Out was birthed out of the thinking that real conversation is hard amidst distractions and interruptions (our beautiful children) and how rare it is that we as moms get to do something that is 100% for us. We all desire to serve our families well, but sometimes we are running on empty.
Come; be encouraged! This group is open to ALL moms, and we invite others in!
Contact Shanna at email@example.com for more info and about the next night out.
Motherhood is good, yet hard! Moms of young children struggle with identity, isolation, guilt, comparison, time management, strapped finances, and feeling overwhelmed.
Moms’ Playgroup at Grace exists for moms to connect with other moms who are in the same boat. Our purpose is for moms to know that they are not alone- not alone in their struggles, not alone in this season of life, and not alone in their feelings.
We do this through weekly play dates (for moms and kids), monthly fieldtrips and monthly dinner dates (for moms). Email Shanna at firstname.lastname@example.org to join the weekly email group and find out what we’re doing next!
In-depth women’s Bible studies are provided to promote fellowship and an opportunity for accountability and deeper spiritual growth. These studies are offered at different times and places throughout the year.
