Baptism and Family Picnic

On August 22, we’re taking our full Sunday up to Eagle Eyrie! Save the date and plan to join us for a family morning to celebrate what God is doing in our midst!
At 10am, we’ll gather outdoors near the pavilion up at Eagle Eyrie to worship through song, teaching and hear testimonies from those being baptized! Make sure to arrive early with your lawn chairs and blankets to find a spot.
At 11am, we’ll move to the pool for the baptism. If you’re interested in getting baptized, email either Kenny at klongo@graceefc.net (for kids) or Mark at mfesmire@graceefc.net (for teens and adults).
After the baptism, the pool will open up and the potluck lunch will start up at the pavilion. For the potluck, bring a side or dessert (no sign up required) to share as we’ll be providing beef hotdogs and toppings + drinks. If your food needs to be kept cold, please bring your food in a cooler. If you’d like to enjoy the pool, remember to bring your swim items!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE AT EAGLE EYRIE?
1. Once parked, set up your chairs/blanket on the hill near the pavilion. We will start around 10am.
2. For your food, follow the instructions of the leaders when you arrive. If your food needs to keep cool, bring a cooler to keep it in until the meal starts. Food will be served under the pavilion.
3. After the service, we’ll travel to the pool together for the baptism. After the baptism, we will start lunch and the pool will be open to enjoy until 5pm.
WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE
Hot dogs and buns w/ ketchup, mustard, relish, drinks, cups, eating utensils, plates, bowls, and napkins.
WHAT TO BRING
Lawn stuff: lawn chairs, blanket(s) (there is unfortunately not enough seating for everyone)
Side dish or dessert to share. To help make sure there is enough food, please make it to feed 8 or more people.
Pool stuff: swimsuits, towels, suntan lotion, floaties, etc.
