A Word (or two) from Mark

Moses was blessed with one of the most powerful encounters with God prior to the coming of Jesus Christ.   Deuteronomy tells us that God spoke with him “face to face”.  Yet the writer of Hebrews urges us to go BOLDLY before the throne of grace in Hebrews 4.  It is interesting that just prior to this instruction two strong statements are made. Nothing is hidden from God’s sight and Jesus sympathizes with our weaknesses.  In otherwords, we have nothing to fear.  The invitation to come before God is made with complete understanding of who we are and where we have been.  I truly believe we know God as much as we care to know Him.  Is there something keeping you from knowing Him better?  Is fear any part of what is holding you back?  Don’t shrink back.  Enter boldly before His Throne.  Jesus our “high priest” is waiting to meet you there.
