The big race has now become a tradition for the late summer.  The date for 2009 hasn’t been set yet.  The is race is open to the community, to all age groups and levels of experience. The event will correspond with a similar race that the children in Central Asia will be doing. All proceeds will benefit the Interlink orphanages.

AGE GROUPS for the race:

5K, for both men and women: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,
50-54, 55-59, 60-65, 66 and over

Kids Run Age Groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12

PARKING
Parking is available in front of church building and also in the Food Lion Parking Lot On Timberlake Rd. There’s a gravel path that connects the properties.

COURSE
Along the quiet roads in the housing area behind Grace, mostly flat with some slight grades. Traffic will not be stopped but there are plenty of signs, cones and people will be on the course for participant safety.

DOOR PRIZES
After finishing the race check the wall for your name and number to see if you have won an item. Verify number with prize coordinator.
